CORE II is rising out of the ground with concrete pillars dotting the skyline. Construction started late fall on the second Northpointe Development apartment building. This five-story, 150-unit building will have retail on the ground floor and will bring an additional 70 parking spaces to the Riverfront. Completion is expected in 2026.
Phase I of the Master Development Plan for the KC Current is also moving swiftly. It too has catapulted out of the ground. Infrastructure work is still underway. If you drive Berkley Parkway you will run into underground construction taking place. Pardon the temporary mess.
The Town of Kansas Bridge refresh is complete. It took roughly 6 weeks to complete the cleaning, repairing and painting of the pedestrian and bike bridge that stretches from the City Market, over three rail lines, and overlooks the Missouri River. We thank all of our trail users for their patience in dodging the lift stretching the workers to some hard-to-reach places.
