Corrigan Station
2016
The Corrigan Station project was initiated to create more office space in Kansas City and was the first multi-tenant Class A office construction in 120 years. Port KC issued $50 million in bonds for Phase 1 and $12 million for Phase 2 to support the renovation of a vacant, 10-story office building and the construction of a second building and parking garage directly adjacent. This project was 100% leased within 12 months of completion and brought several new companies to downtown Kansas City, resulting in an estimated 749 long-term jobs.
Developed by Copaken Brooks and 3D Development, the 227-space garage serves the two buildings during the day and the Crossroads neighborhood after hours.
