KC Current Riverfront Stadium

In October 2021, Port KC and the KC Current joined together to make the first women’s professional sports stadium in the world. The $140 million project was entirely financed through the ownership group. The stadium is home to the NWSL KC Current and can seat 11,500 fans. CPKC Stadium anchors the Berkley Riverfront development on the east near the Kit Bond Bridge. The stadium covers seven acres of land right along the Missouri river. 

After officially opening in 2024, the CPKC stadium has sold out every regular season home game for the KC Current. The stadium is used for other events and is being considered as a practice field for the 2026 World Cup. Being the first of its kind in the world, the CPKC Stadium is a popular sight for locals and tourists.
