Platform Ventures Building 7

Platform Ventures is building nearly 920,000 square feet of speculative industrial space called “Building 7.” This project is part of Platform Ventures’ larger plan to redevelop more than 200 acres of former Air Force base land into Class A Industrial Buildings at 49 Crossing.  

Building 7 is one of the largest speculative spaces in the region, and the project is moving quickly to capture significant market opportunities. In the current environment, sites must be through significant approval phases for potential tenants to consider choosing the location. This speculative space will attract tenants to create more quality jobs within the existing strong workforce.  

Port KC provided $60 million in privately backed conduit bonds to support the construction of a single industrial building, which will help generate economic growth thanks to these bonds.
